This 4-in-1 8x8 LED Dot Matrix Display module is equipped with the MAX7219 IC. Each 8 x 8 matrix has its own MAX7219 driver, creating an 8 x 32 LED dot matrix display. Perfect to display running text and picture. It can be cascaded to a bigger dot matrix display, but make sure that 5V capacity higher ampere sufficient to support it. The Arduino communicates using serial data, needing just 3 I/O to drive the whole display.
